UPPLM UNIPMA Holds Perception Alignment and MoU Signing for PLP-I with Partner Schools
The Field Practice and Internship Unit (UPPLM) of Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) held a Perception Alignment and Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signing event with partner schools regarding the implementation of School Field Introduction (PLP) I.
The event, which took place on Monday, March 11, 2025, at the Integrated Lab, aimed to strengthen cooperation and coordination between the university and educational institutions to support students from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at UNIPMA in developing their professional competencies.
UNIPMA Rector, Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd, appreciated the work of UPPLM in carrying out its programs and thanked the partner schools for their willingness to support the implementation of PLP-I. He emphasized that close cooperation between the university and partner schools plays a crucial role in improving the quality of education and ensuring that students gain quality experiences. "Such cooperation must be continuously improved so that students can experience real-life practices in accordance with the existing educational standards," he said.
Also present at the event were FKIP UNIPMA Dean, Dr. Sardulo Gembong, M.Pd, and Head of UPPLM UNIPMA, Ir. Sulistyaning Kartikawati, M.M., M.Pd. The event’s chairperson, Dr. Elly’s Mersina M., M.Pd, explained that the activity was designed to align perceptions regarding the implementation and use of the Microteaching and PLP-I systems between supervising lecturers and partner schools. Additionally, the event aimed to socialize the Microteaching and PLP-I systems, which are continuously updated to improve and make them more accessible to both lecturers and students. "We hope that with a shared understanding, the mentoring process and implementation of PLP-I can proceed more effectively and optimally," she explained.
The event involved approximately 545 FKIP UNIPMA students who will carry out PLP-I in various partner schools, with the support of 60 supervising lecturers (DPL). The perception alignment with the DPL covered the PLP-I and Microteaching systems, implementation mechanisms, and mentoring techniques. Meanwhile, the session with partner schools discussed the PLP-I mechanism, academic cooperation, program socialization, and the integration of UNIPMA's New Student Admissions (PMB) within the partner schools.
This event is expected to support the smooth implementation of PLP-I and provide maximum benefits for the students, partner schools, and UNIPMA in producing professional and competent future educators.
