The Economics Education Study Program of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) has achieved an outstanding accomplishment by earning Superior Accreditation. This achievement serves as proof of the program's commitment to maintaining and enhancing the quality standards of higher education.

The "Superior" accreditation status is based on the assessment results of the Independent Accreditation Institute for Education under Decree No. 267/SK/LAMDIK/Ak/S/III/2025. The Head of the Economics Education Study Program, Mr. Ramadhan Prasetya Wibawa, M.Pd., stated that this success is the result of various strategic efforts undertaken by the program. "We continuously strive to improve academic quality and program management, including human resource development, curriculum innovation, as well as the enhancement of research and community service," he said on Friday, March 7, 2025.

After achieving Superior Accreditation, the Economics Education Study Program at UNIPMA does not stop here. Several strategic steps have been prepared to strengthen its position in academic competition at both national and international levels. The following steps will be implemented:

1. Quality Enhancement – Regular evaluation of curriculum, learning, and facilities, as well as strengthening quality assurance systems and lecturer competencies.

Despite achieving Superior Accreditation, the Economics Education Study Program continues to improve by addressing several challenges, such as encouraging lecturer qualification advancement, particularly in achieving professorship titles; developing laboratory facilities and information technology, including plans for a Smart Classroom; and strengthening the research and scientific publication culture, especially at the international level.
