Full of Creativity and Art, the 8th Anniversary Vocal Group Competition of FKIP UNIPMA Successfully Enlivens the Campus, International Students Join in Enlivening the Atmosphere! 

The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) successfully held a series of events in the framework of its 8th Dies Natalis with the theme "Building the Future of the Nation through Quality and Competitive Education" on Thursday, 20/02/2025, yesterday.

One of the featured events held was a vocal group competition between Study Programs (Prodi) within the FKIP UNIPMA scope. This activity took place lively in the middle courtyard of the 1st floor of Campus 2 UNIPMA, which managed to attract the attention of lecturers, students and academics.

The event, which was opened directly by the Dean of FKIP UNIPMA, Dr. Sardulo Gembong, M.Pd, provided an atmosphere of togetherness and fighting spirit for all participants. In his remarks, Dr. Sardulo Gembong, M.Pd emphasized the importance of creativity and collaboration in advancing education in this modern era.

The vocal group competition involving lecturers from each FKIP UNIPMA study program presented a variety of music variations and cultures. Each group, consisting of lecturers from each study program, performed with high spirits, combining vocal skills and unique costumes that reflected local wisdom and their respective cultures. The participants also confidently explored creativity in each performance, creating a colourful and entertaining atmosphere.

One of the performances that stole the attention was the participation of Sea-Teacher program students from the MMSU Philippines Campus. Their presence gave an international touch to the event while enriching the cultural diversity displayed in the vocal group competition.

Cheers and warm applause echoed as the participants performed. Each group performed optimally, making the competition even tighter and more exciting. After going through a strict assessment, the winners of the 8th Anniversary of FKIP UNIPMA 2025 vocal group competition were finally announced.

The final results of this competition are as follows:

  • The first place was won by the English Language Education Study Program,
  • The second place was won by the Elementary School Education Study Program,
  • The third place was won by the Natural Science Education Study Program.

The success of this event is not only a celebration of FKIP UNIPMA's 8th anniversary, but also proof of the Faculty's commitment to continue developing creativity and a spirit of collaboration among the academic community, under FKIP UNIPMA's Jargon, namely MANTAB (Independent, Resilient, and Innovative). With the variety of performances available, this event is an important momentum in strengthening relations between study programs while introducing the richness of art and culture on campus.
