A visit filled with joy and happiness colored the Campus Tour event conducted by SMAN 4 Madiun to Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) on Tuesday, 11/02/2025, at the Integrated Lab. This Campus Tour activity provided comprehensive information to the students about the study programs available at UNIPMA and gave them an overview of career prospects after graduation.

During this Campus Tour, material about the International Credit Transfer (ICT) student exchange program at UNIPMA was also presented. The ICT material was delivered by Daffa Mahendra, a Physics Education student, who had participated in the ICT program at Iloilo Science and Technology University, Philippines.

The event was opened with a warm welcome from Dr. Jeffry Handhika, M.Pd., M.Si., Vice Rector for IV at UNIPMA. In his speech, he welcomed all participants from SMAN 4 Madiun and hoped that this visit would provide important information related to the study programs available at UNIPMA.

"We hope that through this activity, the students can gain deeper insight into further studies at university and, of course, help them solidify their choice of study programs for their next educational level," said Dr. Jeffry Handhika, M.Pd., M.Si.

Next, Mr. Untaka Jayadiatma, a teacher representative from SMAN 4 Madiun, also expressed deep gratitude to UNIPMA for the warm welcome. He explained that the purpose of this visit was to introduce the students more closely to the UNIPMA campus and to spark their interest in continuing their studies to a higher level.

"We hope this visit will inspire and encourage the students to choose higher education as a path to a brighter future," he said.

After the welcome speeches, the event continued with a presentation on ICT, followed by the PMB (New Student Admission) socialization by PMB Secretary Mrs. Candra Dewi, S.Pd., M.Pd., and a demonstration of learning media from the Economics Education Study Program and a demonstration of college project outputs from the Electrical Engineering Education Study Program.

During this session, the Electrical Engineering Education Study Program demonstrated the working system of an electric vehicle, which was enthusiastically welcomed by the students. The students had the chance to try the electric vehicle trainer and ride an electric motorcycle converted from a gasoline motorcycle. The final event was the Campus Tour, where the students visited the Chemistry Lab, Pharmacy Lab, Information Systems Lab, and the UNIPMA Library.

The Head of the Event, Dr. Nurulita Imansari, S.Pd., M.Pd., also emphasized the importance of this event in providing direct experience to the students, which will certainly help them make decisions about their future education. "With this Campus Tour, we hope that the students of SMAN 4 Madiun can gain a clear picture of campus life, the available facilities, and the various study programs they can choose at UNIPMA," explained Dr. Nurulita Imansari, S.Pd., M.Pd.

This event provided a clear picture and direct experience to the students regarding study program choices and career prospects after graduation, making it easier for the students to determine the study program that suits their passions.

The activity ran smoothly and successfully, providing valuable experiences for all participants and strengthening the relationship between SMAN 4 Madiun and UNIPMA in shaping a more qualified generation of future leaders.
