In today's modern era, robotics plays an inseparable role in education. "Education holds a key role in developing students' skills in this field. Robotics presents both challenges and creative solutions for students to solve existing problems," said Ari Aradea Adiputra, a committee member of the 2024 National Robofest, on Monday, January 27, 2025.

To drive the growth of robotics in Indonesia, synergy between education, research, and public support is essential. Robotics is the foundation of technology with vast potential to advance the nation in facing the era of technological modernization.

The 2024 National Robofest competition, held at Graha Cendekia, Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) last December, provided a platform for young talents to explore their potential in robotics and industrial automation. “This event brought together top universities from across Indonesia, including Universitas Brawijaya, Universitas Negeri Semarang, Universitas Diponegoro, Politeknik Elektronika Negeri Surabaya, Politeknik Perkapalan Negeri Surabaya, and Politeknik Negeri Madiun,” he explained.

In the future of technology, robotics plays a crucial role, particularly in the manufacturing, healthcare, and public service sectors. Modern robotics is now equipped with artificial intelligence (AI), enabling robots to adapt, make decisions, and interact more effectively with their environment. "AI-powered robotics is the key to addressing various challenges in the future," he stated.

To build a better future, collaboration between the government, education sector, industry, and technology enthusiasts is vital. The hope is that society and all relevant sectors will continue to develop a technological ecosystem that fosters innovation.
