UNIPMA Successfully Holds 2025 Student Organization Inauguration: "Fostering Dynamism and Student Professionalism" 

The University of PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA), through its Student Affairs Bureau (BKM), successfully held the inauguration of the 2025 Student Organizations (Ormawa) on Thursday, December 19, 2024. The event took place at UNIPMA's Integrated Laboratory and was attended by university leaders, Ormawa representatives, and faculty advisors.

This inauguration marked the continuation of a prior simultaneous election. Present at the event were Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd (Rector of UNIPMA), Dr. Elva Nuraini, S.E., M.Si (Vice Rector I of UNIPMA), members of the BKM, Deans, Heads of Study Programs, and representatives from Faculty Student Associations (HMF), Study Program Student Associations (HMPS), Student Activity Units (UKM), and the Student Executive Board (BEM) for the 2024/2025 period.

The event began with the singing of the national anthem Indonesia Raya and the UNIPMA Hymn, followed by the reading of the Decree (SK), the appointment of faculty advisors, and the inauguration of the 2025 Ormawa board, led directly by Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd. The inauguration ceremony included the reading of the pledge, the signing of the minutes, and speeches from various officials.

Faris Maulana Arafli, the BEM President for the 2024 period, delivered a farewell speech, which was followed by the inaugural address of the new BEM President for 2025, Lionel Haidar Fillah Muhyiddin. In his remarks, he called on all Ormawa members to uphold solidarity and enhance their performance in fulfilling organizational responsibilities.

Dr. Elva Nuraini, S.E., M.Si, in her speech, provided guidance on the importance of collaborative program planning, improved communication, and negotiation skills to create a dynamic and harmonious organization. "Ormawa life must be dynamic, capable of resolving conflicts, and consistently synergizing in every program," she stated.

Meanwhile, Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd, highlighted UNIPMA's recent achievement of six awards from PT PGRI Madiun as an important milestone to maintain the spirit and quality of student organizations. He also announced major upcoming agendas that the university plans to undertake.

The inauguration was enlivened with the presentation of the 2024 Ormawa Awards, a special recognition from the university for the best-performing Ormawa. The event concluded with a group photo session with all participants and invited guests.

In an interview, Mrs. Lusia Kritiasih D. P, S.S., M.A (representative of BKM UNIPMA), explained that the inauguration aimed to mark the beginning of a new Ormawa leadership term. She emphasized the importance of administrative skills such as proposal submissions, accountability reports (LPJ), and effective communication with the BKM team. "Discipline, knowledge, and confidence are crucial traits that will greatly impact students as they enter the workforce," she added.

Through this inauguration, UNIPMA hopes that student organizations will continue to grow dynamically, collaboratively, and professionally. All board members are expected to implement relevant work programs, contribute tangibly, and build strong leadership character.
