UNIPMA Lecturer Delivers Training on Interactive Module Development and Learning Media at SDIT Aisyah Ummul Mu’Minin, Madiun

Dr. Fitra Pinandhita, M.Pd., a lecturer from Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA), served as a trainer in a workshop held at SDIT Aisyah Ummul Mu’Minin, Madiun, on Friday, November 3, 2024. During the event, Dr. Fitra presented material on developing interactive modules and learning media, a topic highly relevant to improving the quality of elementary education.

The session aimed to help teachers understand the importance of integrating various types of learning media, both digital and traditional, to create a more engaging and effective learning process. Dr. Fitra emphasized that interactive modules and learning media allow students to learn independently through a more structured and enjoyable approach.

“Interactive modules and learning media—whether digital, such as interactive apps and educational videos, or traditional, such as whiteboards, posters, and physical teaching aids—play equally important roles in enhancing students’ understanding. They complement each other and can cater to various learning styles,” explained Dr. Fitra.

The workshop focused on equipping teachers with practical skills to develop interactive modules and utilize appropriate learning media based on students’ needs. It encouraged teachers to combine modern technology with traditional approaches to create diverse, effective, and engaging learning experiences. One expected outcome was for teachers to be able to develop simple, easy-to-make teaching aids that remain effective in supporting the learning process.

“Our primary goal is for teachers to become more creative in utilizing available media, whether digital or traditional, to create a more flexible and enjoyable learning experience. This approach enables teachers to design adaptive, inclusive, and relevant learning for all students without exception,” Dr. Fitra added.

The principal of SDIT Aisyah Ummul Mu’Minin, Tody Dwi Aniesa A., S.Pd., expressed her appreciation for the training. She noted that the material was highly beneficial for teachers in developing various learning media for classroom use.
“Teachers not only learned to leverage modern technology such as interactive modules but also gained skills to create simple, effective teaching aids for classroom use. We believe that by combining digital and traditional media, the learning experience at our school will become more varied, engaging, and easier for students to understand,” said Tody Dwi Aniesa.

Overall, this workshop is expected to positively impact the quality of education by promoting diverse approaches aligned with current developments. By mastering the creation of interactive modules and the use of effective learning media, students are anticipated to experience more enjoyable, efficient, and tailored learning methods.
