LPPM UNIPMA Maintain Main Cluster Position

Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) is again included in the main cluster in the field of research and community service. This was stated in the Decree of the Director of Research, Technology and Community Service, Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, number 0241/E5/DT.06.01/2023 dated 28 February 2023 concerning the determination of Higher Education Clusterization based on research performance and community service.

The calculated performance data has been verified and validated by the university's Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM) verifier. Includes authors, affiliations, journals, research, community service, intellectual property rights, and books.

This clustering is a method for identifying, measuring performance, and classifying universities.

"We are proud that LPPM UNIPMA is still in the main cluster," said UNIPMA Deputy Chancellor for Research and Community Service Dr. Bambang Eko Hari Cahyono, M.Pd.

He explained, the hope is that LPPM UNIPMA should become a regulation, and facilitator, which is good for lecturers and students to improve research performance and community service. LPPM will increase its main activities in centers of excellence.

"LPPM will improve its previous good performance so that in the future hopefully it can increase to an independent cluster," he explained.

The Chancellor of UNIPMA, Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd. admitted that he was grateful because LPPM UNIPMA through the activities of lecturers in research and community service could survive in the main cluster in the field of research and community service. This achievement shows that research progress at UNIPMA is going well.

"This is a very extraordinary achievement amid the competitiveness of tertiary institutions. The challenges going forward are getting tougher so efforts need to be made to increase the competence of lecturers in carrying out research and community service activities to support improving the quality of learning," he explained.

He hopes that in the future there will be more competitive programs in the field of research and community service that can be achieved by UNIPMA lecturers.
