Invite Five Speakers, UNIPMA Alumni Debriefing is Successful 

Thursday, 21 April 2022. After being opened by the Chancellor of UNIPMA, Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd. The Alumni Briefing event was continued with the presentation of material by each extraordinary resource person. The event was held in conjunction with Kartini Day 21/04/2022 online through the Zoom Meeting platform and UNIPMA's official live YouTube.

 

The session was moderated by Maya Novitasari, S.E., M.Ak. The existence of alumni is an important part to improve the quality of higher education. Not only that, it turns out that there are various reasons why campuses need to manage alumni data. The success of university graduates in the world of work is one of the benchmarks for accreditation assessment. Alumni also play a role in improving the quality of education in higher education. So managing alumni data is an important component that must be considered by universities.

 

The first speaker was Anita Nurrul Febrianti, M.Psi, a Psychologist with the material "preparing to enter the world of work" and "mental health". Anita provides material on what things need to be prepared before applying for a job, job vocation etiquette and much more.

 

"Many cases of applicants who do not know, do not master the knowledge profile about the company being applied for. This is a very common problem,” said Anita. Therefore, it is important to be prepared to know things before applying for a job and how to apply for a job.

Interestingly, in this material Anita also does a good interview practice. So that prospective alumni observe directly how to enter the HRD room, answer interview questions and so on.


 

Anita also appealed to the alumni briefing participants to try to attach a clearly legible file. So that HRD has no problems in reading the application file.

 

Followed by the second speaker, namely Aditya Dio Mulyono, S.Pd. (Catfish Cultivation Entrepreneurs and Natural Crickets) with material on tips to become a successful entrepreneur. So in addition to being given preparation material for entering the world of work, prospective UNIPMA alumni are also provided with how to become a successful entrepreneur.

 

Aditya also advised the participants of the alumni briefing/prospective alumni to become successful entrepreneurs, they must enjoy the process. "So entrepreneurs can't be directly on top, we have to enjoy the process," he said.

 

The third speaker is Joko Wahono, S.E. (Supervisor of Energy Transactions, PLN Madiun City) with the material "Tips to Become a BUMN Employee". Becoming a BUMN employee is certainly a dream for most job seekers. Joko Wahono advised “update knowledge, increase our literacy, our connections, in this digital era. I hope that the prospective alumni will continue to read both in books and on the internet.

 

The fourth speaker was Retno Wahyunintyas (Teacher of SMP Negeri 1 Puhpelem Wonogiri) with the material "Tips and Tricks for Passing Government Employees with a Work Agreement (P3K)". And the last speaker was Ahsin Daroni, S.Pd. (Teacher of SMP Negeri 4 Puspo SATAP, Pasuruan) "Tips and Tricks to Escape the State Civil Apparatus (ASN)".

 

Moderator Maya Novitasari, S.E., M.Ak. in closing the alumni briefing event, he hopes that with this briefing, prospective alumni will get a clearer picture of the world of work and get more opportunities to find jobs that match the wishes and business world of prospective UNIPMA alumni.
