Wednesday, April 14, 2021. PPLP PT PGRI Madiun handed over a set of Kyai Ageng gamelan to the UNIPMA campus. The symbolic handover of the gamelan was carried out by the handover of the gamelan / gong drumming instrument by the head of PPLP PT PGRI Madiun, Drs. Imam Suyudi to the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, Drs. R. Bekti Kiswardianta, M.Pd, as an effort to support students' musical arts UKM and also to preserve the nation's culture.

The submission of the gamelan was at the same time the ceremony and opening of the gamelan. The activity will be carried out on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at 10.00 WIB - finished at the Bus parking lot (CSC) Jalan slamet Riyadi. The hope is that with this new gamelan, it will make them more familiar with Indonesian culture as well as provide all students with the experience of playing Javanese gamelan instruments.

The opening ceremony of the event also featured performances from a number of Karawitan UKM teams. Even though it is still during the Covid 19 pandemic, the Karawitan team is still enthusiastic about practicing and developing their talents. And still carry out the established health protocols.
