Succeed ‘Langit Biru” Program through the green program

The “Langit Biru” Program as proclaimed by the mayor of Madiun is an air pollution control program from mobile or immovable sources. One step to success is the greening movement. With the Greening Week, Universitas PGRI Madiun participated in the success of The “Langit Biru” Program

The activity is located on land owned by Universitas PGRI Madiun which is located in front of the Integrated Laboratory. This land, as said by Vice-Chancellor 2 of Universitas PGRI Madiun, was originally designed for campus greening. Until now there have been 23 trees that have been planted on the land.

The greening week was filled with tree planting by senior officials at the Universitas PGRI Madiun. Every tree planted is given the identity of the planter as a reminder. "Every tree planted is a form of our participation in the success of The “Langit Biru” Program as promoted by the Mayor of Madiun," said Dr.Drs. Supri Wahyudi, M.Pd, Vice-Chancellor 2 of the University of PGRI Madiun (11/3).

"In the future, this green land will be more refined. And of course, learning facilities will be built for students so that students are more comfortable to study in open spaces," added Dr.Drs. Supri Wahyudi, M.Pd.

The greening week was also attended by the Rector of the University of PGRI Madiun, Dr. H. Parji, M.Pd, Vice-Chancellor 1, 2, 3 and 4 as well as PPLP Universitas PGRI Madiun.
