Universitas PGRI Madiun, MADIUN - Implementation of the Lecturer Assignment Program in Schools of Universitas PGRI Madiun #PDS_UNIPMA_2019 has entered the process of direct lecturer dropping to partner schools. The first step that lecturers need to take while at school is to coordinate with partner teachers. Partner teachers are collaborative colleagues of lecturers in carrying out learning in the classroom so that in the implementation of the PDS program, lecturers are obliged to communicate any learning devices that are in accordance with the material to be taught.

One of the goals of PDS for Universitas PGRI Madiun is to provide real experience for FKIP Universitas PGRI Madiun lecturers to manage learning activities in schools, have sensitivity in understanding the development of learners in the learning process and live up to the role as a teacher when teaching at school, and produce learning tools collaboratively with teachers so that good learning community (LC) is formed. To achieve this goal, lecturers are required to "ngangsu kaweruh*" to partner teachers who are experienced in dealing with learning problems in the field, although in general the community considers that lecturers have more extensive knowledge on education and learning theories when compared with teacher at school.

"With this PDS program, I hope lecturer of Universitas PGRI Madiun experience will increase, especially in the implementation of direct learning in class, so that the results received can be a reference when the lecturer teaches students in relevant subjects", said Dr. Marheny Lukitasari, M.Pd., as the chair of the PDS Universitas PGRI Madiun team.
